For the fourth consecutive year, Coastal Automotive has earned the 2019 General Motors Supplier Quality Excellence Award. The award recognizes suppliers for meeting 13 challenging criteria including efficient manufacturing practices, positive customer satisfaction, dependable delivery times and more. General Motors has recognized suppliers with the Quality Excellence Award since 2012.
“Each part we make could be the difference between life and death in an automobile accident. There is no room for anything less than perfect. Our team understands our responsibility to provide GM with quality parts, and we live it every day,” said Paul Doyle, Chief Executive Officer for Coastal Automotive.
General Motors currently utilizes over 4,300 supplier locations across the United States. Of those suppliers, less than 10 percent receive the Supplier Quality Excellence Award.

In addition to earning the GM Supplier Quality Excellence Award, Coastal received their third GM Supplier of the Year Award in 2019.
