Coastal Automotive Hires Patrick Connor as Controller

Holland, MI — West Michigan-based Coastal Automotive announced the hire of Patrick Connor as controller.

Patrick Connor joins Coastal after ten years working in Central and West Michigan as controller for both Janesville Acoustics in Battle Creek and, most recently, Aludyne in Southfield. He graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in accounting and finance. Patrick brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the company having worked for publicly traded companies and conducted audits and reviews for a regional CPA firm.

“I’m looking forward to working with the Coastal Team and learning a new manufacturing process. I’ve worked in fiber plants and a few aluminum foundries, but never somewhere where the primary component is foam,” Patrick expressed.

“We are excited to have Patrick on our team and look forward to benefiting from his experience,” said Coastal Group Chief Financial Officer Mark McConnell. “Patrick brings great industry expertise to the table, having worked for larger public entities, and he will be a terrific addition to the Coastal Automotive family,” added Shaun Sikora, president of Coastal Automotive.

In his free time, Patrick is either spending time with his wife and two daughters or out running, biking or golfing. He’s hoping that he can work his way back into marathon shape in the next year or two. He may even try to tackle another Ironman after that, his last full event being in 2016.
