Coastal Automotive Volunteers at Red Horse Center

On Wednesday, May 15th, Coastal Automotive participated in Community Impact Day, a volunteer event organized by the West Coast Chamber of Commerce. Once a year, participants volunteer their time at locations around West Michigan to give back to the community.

This spring, our team had the opportunity to volunteer at Red Horse Center for Collaborative Leadership. The center provides professional development, mental health services, and community support through the incorporation of nature, animals, and art. The organization believes in the importance of collaboration and helps people of all ages by re-establishing their connection with nature.

To ensure Red Horse Center can keep up with their good work in the future, we helped them maintain their grounds. Our team members split up to volunteer around the property. Altogether, we worked to prep the space for permanent fences, clear brush for the horses, and split and clean up wood.

West Michigan is a great place to call home and we want to show our appreciation for the area however we can. Red Horse Center is just one of the many amazing non-profits making a large impact on the community and we are proud to assist their efforts.
